Grace Kimpinski (she/her)
Executive Director
Grace Kimpinski has been steering The Island Fringe Festival since 2019, joyfully proving that performances belong anywhere—parking lots, back alleys, coffee shops. A producer and stage manager for over a decade, she believes inclusion matters, risk-taking is essential, and nothing beats a show that starts on time. As co-chair of CAFF’s EDIA Committee, Grace pushes for systemic change while embracing the joyful chaos of Fringe life. She champions unconventional theatre, helps artists push boundaries, and whether wrangling schedules, securing sponsorship, or making artists feel at home, she leads with heart, humour, and a well-worn clipboard.

Hilary Wood (she/her)
Festival Assistant
Hilary is joining the Island Fringe Festival this fall as Festival Assistant — her first dive into the world of Fringe, and she couldn’t be more excited.
Hilary finds joy in the little details that make all the difference. She loves working behind the scenes to help creative things come alive, and after five years as a hand-poked tattoo artist, she knows the power of art that connects.
Fueled by oat milk lattes and Real Housewives, she’s excited to bring her passion for organization and planning to the Festival.

Brynn Cutcliffe (they/them)
Technical Director
Brynn Cutcliffe is a playwright, director, and (sometimes) performer from Charlottetown, PEI. They love a good stage direction, bad puns, and new Canadian theatre, and they are currently the Playwright in Residence at Watermark Theatre.
They have previously participated in the Island Fringe as the creator/director of THE PRICK (PARC Award winner & Patron’s Pick, 2023) and Wild Card (PARC Award winner, 2018), as the stage manager of Thinking About a Dog by Lauren Jean Lawlor (2024), and as a tech assistant (2024). Now, they are looking forward to joining the Fringe team for the 2025 festival – see you there!

Ananjay Sardana (he/they)
Festival Apprentice
Ananjay Sardana is a writer, reader, student, the weird one of the bunch and all that jazz…
He enjoys fast paced chaotic environments and with that Fringe feels just like home: where chaos and magic takes the stage. After last year’s wonderful experience at Fringe he has returned to join the team.
Fueled with wit and whimsy, Ananjay is thrilled to be able to add some more fun, aid, love and care to Fringe!
